Its been a while since we sent out a newletter, so I thought I would send one out to let everyone know what has been going on over the last few months. First, unfortunately I was unavailable for several weeks lately working hard on some other projects. This resulted in me not being able to give the site the attention it deserved. In any case, things are back to normal (better even!).
We now have 5000 members and nearly 100,000 items have been listed across many different media types. The growth has been exceptional, so if you haven't been back to http://www.titletrader.com lately come check it out again. No other service can offer such a selection across so many categories, and all for free.
Before I get into the recent changes, I would like to let everyone know that we have recently been getting a lot of press. In the past couple weeks we have been featured in a rather lengthy Wall Street Journal article, in smartmoney.com, and been mentioned in Woman's Day magazine for a second time! There have been other smaller articles too, so if you see some, let us know. Thats pretty exciting for us, and makes it all worthwhile.
Now for some changes. I now have help doing tech support, so that aspect of the site will be improved quite a bit. Also, many of you may have noticed lately that the site had been painfully slow. This is no longer the case, I have made many backend improvents and the site should now be many times faster. Another addition is the ability to cancel a request if the item has not been shipped within 10 days. This will help you minimize points that get caught up by deadbeats.
Thats not all. Keep checking back for further improvements. We have several things in mind such as some interface improvements. We are also planing to add postage paid labels to our offering to make swapping that much easier.
